THE COURSES
​10 lessons  (4 lessons per month / 3 months) + international guest teachers  + social dance + El Encuentro Tango Stage Group + final party 
Course start: 26 & 27  January 2026  | Language: English and Swedish 

1) ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS  (Fully booked)
"The first step": every journey starts with one step. The Absolute Beginners course will cover the basics and fundamentals of Argentine tango.  The course is designed for absolute beginners who have never danced before and for more experienced dancers who wish to review the basics.

​2) BEGINNERS/INTERMEDIATE  
"The fundamentals": the Beginners/Intermediate course will be focused on  extending the fundamentals seen in the previous courses with a focus on giros and an introduction to dynamic alterations.

3) INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED 
"Master the flow": the Intermediate/Advanced course will be on dynamic alterations  (boleos and ganchos) and advanced musicality.

- El ENCUENTRO TANGO STAGE GROUP: Two exclusive workshops (5hs) per term -  included in the course - for our intermediate and advanced students, focusing on advanced tango combinations, performance and stage tango, leading to a public performance in June 2026.

- WORKSHOPS WITH GUEST TEACHERS (ALL LEVELS)
Throughout the course, you'll have the opportunity to join special workshops with our guest teachers — offered at a highly discounted rate.

ABOUT THE COURSES ​& THE INSTRUCTORS

For the current term, we will host  three guest teachers including two international tango stars:  the artistic and prodigious Lucila Prego, Tango World Cup finalist in 2021; Sol Alzamora, one of the greatest living tango legends of Buenos Aires; the experienced and dynamic Samira Rosenlundh (Intermediate/Advanced Tuesday courses) with the participation of the director of the school, Julian Castro.

All our courses and social dances take place at Allégården — one of the most beautiful and elegant venues in central Göteborg.

Our international team of teachers, trained in Argentina and with decades of experience - we are teachers of teachers - brings the finest contemporary Argentine tango to our school.  Read more about the team here.​

LA LUNÁTICA
GUIDED MONDAY PRACTICA
​
The course fee includes access to La Lunática – Guided Monday Practica, held every Monday at 20.00.
This weekly social dance event in one of Göteborg's most elegant venues is designed to support your learning: dance with fellow students, ask questions, and get personalized feedback from teachers. Each practica (practice/social dance event)  begins with a short sequence challenge (beginner & advanced versions) and offers one-on-one individual coaching, themed evenings, great music, and a warm, social atmosphere.

​ EL ENCUENTRO TANGO STAGE GROUP
​
Two exclusive workshops (5 hours in total) per term are included in the course for intermediate and advanced students. These sessions focus on mastering advanced tango combinations and exploring the dynamic energy of stage tango. Whether you choose to participate in the public performance in June 2026 or not, you’ll have the opportunity to sharpen your technique and embrace the thrilling, vertiginous movements that bring tango to life on stage.
